My sister gave this recipe to me. It's a nice light change from the cream cheese. The citrus compliments a carrot cake very well. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup cornstarch |
1 cup orange juice |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar& cornstarch in pan. 2. Add juices, stirring well. 3. Add salt& butter. 4. Cook over low heat til thick& clear. 5. Cool& frost. |
