I found this recipe in a Pillsbury bake-off book. We love this new twist on broccoli. Ingredients:
1 lb broccoli floret |
1 cup water |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
1 orange, sliced |
3 tablespoons butter |
1 tablespoon honey |
1/4 teaspoon ginger |
Directions:
1. In lg skillet, combine broccoli and water. 2. Sprinkle with thyme. 3. Top with orange slices. 4. Cover and cook on medium for 8 minutes, or until broccoli is crisp-tender. 5. In small pan, mix butter, honey and ginger. 6. Cook on low, stirring, until smooth. 7. Remove orange slices, drain broccoli. 8. Put broccoli on top of orange slices to serve. 9. Drizzle with butter mixture. |
