This smoothie type drink also has a banana in it. If your kids like o.j., they'll like this. From Sue Gregg's cookbook, Lunches & Snacks. I don't usually fill the blender with ice cubes, just a couple of handfuls or so. Ingredients:
1 (6 ounce) can frozen unsweetened orange juice concentrate |
3/4 cup low-fat milk |
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder |
1 banana |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
ice cube, to fill blender |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend on high until ice cubes are completely crushed. |
