Orange Frosting for Cookies |

I surely do love citrus...I find every excuse I can to use this frosting... Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened |
4 cups powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon orange zest |
2 -4 tablespoons orange juice |
yellow food coloring |
red food coloring |
Directions:
1. combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
2. beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 3-5 minutes or until very fluffy -
3. tint frosting to desired color.
4. I can't remember how much frosting this makes.but it is over 2 cups - .
