Orange Cranberry Parfaits |

Ingredients:
1 can(s) (11 oz) mandarin orange segments in light syrup, drained |
1 can(s) (16 oz) wholeberry cranberry sauce |
1/2 cup(s) chopped toasted canned walnuts |
1 tablespoon(s) grated orange peel |
1/3 cup(s) orangeflavored liqueor or orange juice |
1 quart(s) vanilla ice cream |
Directions:
1. Heat cranberry sauce, orange liqueur and orange peel in a medium saucepan over medium heat until cranberry sauce is melted; cool. Spoon onethird of the ice cream into eight parfait or dessert glasses to make first layer. 2. Add orange segments, dividing equally. Add another ice cream layer, using onethird of the ice cream; then spoon on cranberry sauce, dividing equally. Finish with a layer of the remaining ice cream. Freeze up to 30 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with walnuts. |
