this easy bread is quick fun and easy..... its sure to be a hit... you can have it for breakfast or just for snacking.... theres no yeast involved so you can make fast if your in a pinch..... my family loved it and i bet yours will to! Read more ! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1 egg |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
1 tsp. grated orange peel |
2 1/2 cups flour |
2/3 cup orange juice |
1/3 cup milk |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1/2 tsp. salt |
3/4 cup coarsly chopped fresh or frozen cranberries |
1/3 cup chopped pecans optional |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375 F 2. in large mixing bowl combine butter, sugar, egg, orange peel. 3. beat at medium speed until well mixed, scraping sides 1-2 minutes 4. add flour, orange juice, milk, baking poweder, salt 5. beat well at medium speed until well mixed, scraping sides 1-2 minutes 6. by hand, stirr in cranberries and pecans 7. spoon into greased pan 8. bake large loafs 50-60 minutes, medium loafs 30-40 minutes, and mini loafs 18-22 minutes 9. sprinkle with sugar after baking for sparkle |
