Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 cup unbleached cane sugar |
1 teaspoon orange zest |
3/4 cup orange juice |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 cup oil |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon orange zest |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
2 tablespoons butter, melted |
1/2 cup powdered sugar |
1 tablespoon orange juice |
Directions:
1. Sift first five ingredients in bowl. Stir in orange peel,. 2. orange juice, eggs and vanilla. Add oil. Mix until moist. 3. Pour into greased/floured 8 by 8 pan. Mix topping and place. 4. on top of dough. Bake in 400 degree oven for 25-30 minutes-. 5. or until toothpick inserted in middle of bread comes out. 6. clean. Drizzle icing over bread when cooled 5 minutes. |
