2 1/2 cups milk |
2 t. butter |
6 ounces bittersweet chocolate |
4 egg yolks |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
2 t flour |
2 t. cornstarch |
2 t. cocoa |
2 tsp. orange liqueur (ie. triple sec or grand marnier) |
1 tsp. grated orange rind |
Directions:
1. Put the first 3 ingredients in a saucepan, and melt the chocolate over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted. 2. Whisk together the rest of the ingredients, and whisk in the warm chocolate milk. Return to pan. 3. Heat at 'medium', and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pudding may lump slightly. When it boils, remove from heat and place in a bowl. Cover top with plastic wrap and cool. Serve with whipped topping. You may prefer to pour into 6 individual bowls for serving. |
