Ingredients:
12 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon orange extract |
3/4-1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips |
1 (9 inch) chocolate crumb crusts or 1 (9 inch) graham cracker crust |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained |
additional chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs; beat on low speed just until combined. Add salt and orange extract; beat just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until center is almost set. Remove from the oven; increase temperature to 425 degrees. 2. In a bowl, combine sour cream, sugar and vanilla; spread over cheesecake. bake 5 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. refrigerate overnight. 3. Just before serving, garnish with oranges and additional chocolate chips. |
