A throw together recipe that has great taste. Ingredients:
2 1/2-3 lbs frying chickens, cut up |
1/2 cup orange marmalade |
1/2 cup orange juice |
1/2 cup dry red wine |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Rinse of chicken and pat dry. 2. Place chicken in slow cooker. 3. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl, mix well, and pour over chicken. 4. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. 5. Serve over rice. |
