a unique combination of oranges within breads tastes good with tea Ingredients:
12 oz white flour |
21/2 tsps baking powder |
2 tbsps orange marmalade. |
3 tbps oil |
2 orange juice (1 cup) |
2 tbps sultanas |
1 egg |
1 tsp orange rind |
1/2 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Sieve flour,baking powder in a dish. 2. Add sugar, egg, sultanas, marmalade, rind, oil and orange juice, mix well. If batter very thick then add little milk, so that batter should be dropping consistency. 3. Grease loaf tin with oil, pour the batter and bake in preheated oven on medium heat till brown on the top. 4. Cool and cut into slices. 5. Spread butter on it and serve with tea |
