When plain old rice gets boring, this is delicous served with chicken! And, since kids love fruit, they'll gobble it down.
Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
1/2 tsp dried orange peels
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried marjoram
1/4 tsp dried thyme
2 1/2 cups water
2 tbsp butter
Directions:
1. Comebine rice, orange peels, salt, morjoram, and thyme in an air tight container and store until ready to cook and serve.
2. In a medium pan, bring water and butter to a boil.
3. Add rice mix and reduce the heat to a simmer.
4. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
