Bless This Food: The Anita Bryant Family Cookbook. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups water |
2 cups sugar |
juice of 4 oranges |
grated rind of 1 orange |
juice of 6 lemons |
grated rind of 1 lemon |
2 large handfuls mint stalks and leaves |
Directions:
1. Boil water and sugar together for 10 minutes. Pour over the fruit juices and rinds. Add mint. 2. Cover and let stand 1 hour or more. Strain and put into jars. 3. To serve, use 5 to 6 tablespoons in a tall glass of crushed ice and water. |
