A white chocolate chip-studded brownie base supports a chocolate chip cookie dough topping-yum! (The cookie dough topping isn't baked and has no eggs.) These are rich, so keep them small-the visual effect is nicer this way, too;) Ingredients:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1 cup sugar |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 1/4 cups flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
3/4 cup white chocolate chips |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar |
1/4 cup granulated sugar |
3 tablespoons milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 cup flour |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or 1 cup milk chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. BROWNIE LAYER: Preheat oven to 350*F. 2. Melt the chocolate chips over low heat; cool slightly. 3. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until well combined. 4. Add the eggs and vanilla; blend well. 5. Stir in the melted chocolate. 6. Combine the flour and baking soda; add to chocolate mixture just until combined. 7. Gently stir in the white chocolate chips. 8. Spread batter in a greased 13x9 baking pan; bake for 16-22 minutes, or until a toothpick tests out clean. 9. Cool on a wire rack. 10. COOKIE DOUGH LAYER: In a clean bowl, cream together the butter and both sugars until well combined. 11. Blend in the milk and vanilla; gradually add the flour. 12. Gently stir in the chocolate chips. 13. Drop by Tbsp. 14. over the cooled brownie layer; carefully spread over the top. 15. Cut into squares; store, covered, in the refrigerator. |
