Fudge Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons light corn syrup |
2/3 cup milk |
1 teaspoon almond extract, pure |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, milk, light corn syrup, and salt in a medium saucepan. 2. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. 3. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes; 4. Remove from the heat and stir in butter; cool to room temperature without stirring. 5. Add almond extract and beat until thickened and fudge begins to lose its gloss. 6. Pour into a buttered 8-inch pan. 7. Cool before cutting into squares. |
