Who doesn't like cookie dough? Well maybe I shouldn't ask that question because I'm sure there are a few squares out there who don't. But this one is for the rest of us! The blondies in the center of the pan will be gooiest, and the ones along the edge of the pan will please those who aren't hard core cookie dough fans. (This is my adaptation of classic Blondies By Anneliese8. Thanks for the basis of this recipe. The original version's really good too!)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups margarine or 1 1/2 cups butter
1 2/3 cups brown sugar
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs, divided
2 tablespoons vanilla
1 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Directions:
1. Cream margarine, brown sugar and white sugar until pale brown and thick.
2. Add eggs one at a time; add vanilla.
3. With a wooden spoon, stir in chocolate chips.
4. Add flour and baking powder.
5. Lightly spray a 9 x 13 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
6. Spread batter into pan.
7. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
