I was astounded to see there was only vegan banana bread recipe on 'Zaar! Here's one more. ;) From Ingredients:
3/4 cup brown sugar |
3/4 cup white sugar |
1/2 cup margarine, softened |
3 very ripe bananas, smooshy-fied |
2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 cup vanilla-flavored soymilk, mixed with |
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon allspice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F Spray a 8x4 bread pan with cooking spray or lightly oil. 2. Sift flour, baking soda, salt and spices together. 3. Cream the margarine and sugars. 4. Add bananas, soy milk and vanilla. 5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry. 6. Mix til combined. 7. Pour batter into pan. 8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. |
