Deep fried onions as light as angel wings. A heavenly topping for fish, poultry, potatoes, rice and salad. Ingredients:
1 medium maui onion |
all-purpose flour |
oil (for deep frying) |
Directions:
1. Slice onion into paper thin rings. 2. Dust with flour. 3. Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet or wok. 4. Drop the onions in a handful at a time, stir to keep from sticking together, and fry until golden brown, Drain on paper towels. |
