Num yummy quieche that you can serve for brunch or as a light dinner wth a salad. Ingredients:
three tablespoons of butter |
one pound of onions |
three eggs |
two tablespoons of dry sherry |
3/4 cup of heavy cream |
one deep dish unbaked pie shell |
one cup of grated parm cheese |
one cup of swiss cheese |
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Saute onions in butter until brown. Add two tablespoons of sherry. Cook till evaporated. Place in pie shell. Mix rest of ingredients together. Pour over onions. Bake at 375 for half an hour, or until golden. |
