This is something you can make for a brunch or you can use these for appetizers Ingredients:
1 large vidaliaonion, sliced (most any other onion will do) |
1/4 cup butter |
1 package cornbread mix |
1 egg |
1/3 cup milk |
1 can cream style corn |
2 to 3 drops hot sauce |
1 cup sour cream |
1/4 teaspoon dill salt |
1 cup grated cheese, divided |
Directions:
1. Saute onion in butter and set aside. 2. Combine next 5 ingredients and add to onion mixture. 3. Pour into buttered 8 inch pan. 4. Mix last 3 ingredients and save out 1/2 cup grated cheese and over batter. 5. Sprinkle with additional 1/2 cup cheese. 6. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. |
