This is from my Mom's recipe cards. I have not tried this. Ingredients:
1/2 cup milk |
1 egg |
3/4 cup flour |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
onion rings |
oil, for frying |
Directions:
1. Add milk to beaten egg. 2. Stir in dry ingredients. 3. Dip onion rings into batter. 4. Heat oil in skillet. 5. Deep fry rings until golden brown on both sides. |
