Usually have this one around Thanksgiving and Christmas but have also made it for a birthday brunch for my Mom. Ingredients:
uncooked pie crust |
2 lbs. onions peeled and sliced |
4 tbsp. butter |
2 eggs |
1/2 pint heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Cook onions in butter till slightly browned. 2. Beat eggs, add cream and add onions. 3. Pour into crust. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
