Here's a mix to keep on hand for those fancy dinner times! You could actually try other dry mixes. Ingredients:
3 cups long grain rice |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package dry onion and mushroom soup mix |
1/4 cup dried parsley flakes |
2 teaspoons dried basil |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. Store in air tight container. 3. Stir before measuring. 4. TO PREPARE THE RICE MIX:. 5. Combine 1 cup mix and 1/4 teaspoon salt with 2 cups water. 6. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Celsius. 7. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender. |
