2 teaspoons yellow cornmeal |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 large onion, thinly sliced |
1 1/2 teaspoons crumbled dried sage |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 (10 ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough |
3/4 cup chopped smoked ham |
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450. Sprinkle cornmeal on baking sheet. 2. In large skillet, heat oil. Add onion and cook over high heat, stirring often, until lightly browned and softened, 3 minutes. 3. Stir in sage and pepper. 4. Unroll pizza dough, place on baking sheet and stretch to an even thickness. 5. Spread onion over dough, Sprinkle ham and cheese evenly on top. 6. Bake 10-12 minutes, until dough is golden brown and crusty and cheese is melted and bubbly. |
