This is a Kraft recipe using vegemite, makes a lovely rich sauce for sausages, steak, whatever you like. Ingredients:
2 large onions, sliced |
1 tablespoon flour |
2 cups water |
1 tablespoon vegemite |
2 tablespoons tomato sauce |
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Heat a little oil in a frypan and saute onion until browned a little and cooked through. 2. Add flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. 3. Stir in combined remaining ingredients and heat until thickened stirring constantly. |
