The smell of the frying onion will give you hunger pangs . Great for a cold day . If you are not a fan of spices , just omit them and Serve on it's own or with your fave sauce. Ingredients:
1 big onion - thinly sliced |
1 c besan ( chickpea flour / garbanzo flour ) , 1/2 c rice flour - whisked |
2 pc ginger and fresh green chillies - thinly sliced |
pinch of salt , chilli pwd and baking pwd |
1 tbsp olive oil and water |
Directions:
1. Take time to slice the onions as thin as possible . 2. Mix everything together . 3. Scoop the batter bit by bit in medium temp oil and 4. Shallow fry on both sides . 5. Serve Hot and Crispy . 6. The onion will give a sweet flavour even if it's slightly burnt . 7. Keep the batter just enough to stick the onions together . |
