Onion -Crusted Pork Chops |

Found the original recipe on Makinglifebetter and changed it a little to fit our tastes. Ingredients:
1 (1 ounce) envelope lipton recipe secrets onion soup mix |
1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs |
4 pork chops, bone-in or 4 boneless pork chops, 1 inch thick |
2 -4 tablespoons dijon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon dried sage |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Mix together the sage, black pepper and garlic powder and rub on both sides of the pork and let sit for 10-15 minutes. 2. Combine the soup mix with the panko crumbs in a small bowl. Brush both sides of chops with mustard, then evenly coat with soup mixture. 3. Arrange chops on a roasting rack in a 13 x 9 inch baking or roasting dish. Bake uncovered, turning once. Bake 30 minutes or until chops are done. |
