Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter or margerine |
3 large vidalia onions, coarsely chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic: sauté 15 minutes or until onion is slightly browned. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in cheese and remaining ingredients. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve hot with tortilla chips. |
