A delicious way to serve onions. Ingredients:
2 lbs onions, peeled and thickly sliced |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon sage |
1/2 cup beef broth |
3/4 cup crushed potato chip |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Grease casserole dish. 3. Combine seasonings. 4. Make layers of onion slices and seasonings in casserole dish. 5. Pour broth over all. 6. Cover and bake until onions are tender, about 45 minutes. 7. Uncover and top casserole with crushed potato chips. 8. Bake, uncovered, until chips are lightly browned, about 5 to 10 minutes. |
