Magnificent. One of the easiest yet best tasting breads I have ever tasted. I make it often and it always impresses. Ingredients:
2 cups white onions sliced |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 teaspoon dried sage |
1 italian flat bread |
1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes chopped |
3 ounces blue cheese crumbled |
Directions:
1. Cook onions in butter over low heat in medium skillet until very tender and lightly browned then stir in sage. 2. Arrange onions on bread and sprinkle with tomatoes and cheese. 3. Bake at 350 until bread is hot and cheese is melted. 4. Cut in wedges. |
