I forget where I got this recipe, but it's very easy and very good, especially for vegetarians. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups water |
32 ounces spaghetti sauce |
16 ounces lasagna noodles |
15 ounces ricotta cheese |
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Combine water with spaghetti sauce in a bowl. 2. Cover the bottom of a greased 9 x13 baking dish with 1 1/2 cups of the mixture. Arrange a layer of uncooked noodles, slightly overlapping, on top of the sauce. 3. Spread half of the ricotta and half the mozzarella over noodles. 4. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese. 5. Add another layer of sauce. 6. Repeat with another layer of noodles, the remaining ricotta and mozzarella and 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese. 7. Top with a layer of noodles. 8. Pour remaining sauce over noodles; sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese. 9. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. 10. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. |
