One Pot English Breakfast

Full English breakfast baked in one dish. Great for holidays and family breakfast times when there's time to spare
Ingredients:
use enough ingredients for four people (as you would use in a normal plated breakfast)
pork sausagemeat
bacon
mushrooms
eggs
tomatoes (i use tinned apricots as i don't like tomatoes, adds a scrummy sweetness that goes well with the sausagemeat)
bread
Directions:
1. Gently fry bacon
2. Gently fry mushrooms and place both to one side
3. Roll out sausagemeat and place in a layer on the bottom of the lasagne dish
4. Slice tomatoes (or apricots if preferred) and place a layer on top of sausage meat
5. Spoon fried bacon and mushrooms on top of tomato/fruit
6. Place sliced white bread over the top for the final layer. I tend to break it up a little and place it like a jigsaw as the edges become crispier by doing this
7. Beat four eggs (or one per person), add a little milk and pout over the bread - alternatively dip the slices of bread in the egg mixture and then pour the rest of the mixture over the dish.
8. Place dish in a warmed oven (200 degrees in Uk - think that's 400 degrees US style)
9. Leave for between 30 - 45 minutes until the egg has set
10. Serve hot
