Sounds yummy. Remove ground beef for a simple vegetarian dish. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained |
2 medium potatoes, cooked and cubed |
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (15 1/2 ounce) can black-eyed peas, rinsed and drained |
1 (8 ounce) can mixed vegetables, drained |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional) |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix well. Transfer to greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until heated through. 2. Liquid smoke would add a distinctive hickory smoke barbeque flavor to foods, so if you don't care for the flavor, it may be omitted. |
