This chocolate cake only uses 1 egg. Ingredients:
1 c. white sugar |
1/2 c. oleo or spry |
1 egg |
1 c. buttermilk |
1 tsp. baking soda (combine) |
1 1/2 c. sifted flour |
2 or3 tbsps. cocoa |
1 tsp. vanilla |
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and oleo, add beaten egg. 2. Add sifted flour alternately with buttermilk. 3. Bake in 9 x 9 x 3 pan at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. 4. 10 servings. |
