Very low fat, oatmeal cookies Ingredients:
1 1/2 c applesauce |
1 1/2 c brown sugar |
2 egg whites |
2/3 c skim milk |
3 tsp vanilla |
6 c rolled oats |
2 cup flour |
1 tsp baking soda |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 tsp cloves |
2 tbsp tvp |
Directions:
1. Soak TVP (textured vegetable protein) in skim milk for ten minutes. 2. Mix flour, baking soda, oats, and seasonings in bowl. 3. Cream together applesauce, egg whites, vanilla and sugar. 4. Add dry ingredients, mix well. 5. Measure 20 grams or about 1 rounded Tbsp of dough. Bake on lightly greased baking sheet for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. |
