There's always a reason for tapenade, especially with this easily adaptable recipe. Add different spices, even roasted red peppers.
Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp capers
1 cup black olives, drained
sea salt & pepper
olive oil
juice of 1/2 lemon
Directions:
1. Take pits out of olives (if necessary).
2. Place garlic, olives, and capers in food processor and blend (I prefer not too fine).
3. Add salt & pepper and lemon juice to taste and add olive oil to make the tapenade nice and smooth.
