If you like olives, you'll love this smooth spread. Walnuts and spices create warm flavor overtones. Spoon this mixture onto slices of your favorite toasted bread. Ingredients:
3 cups pitted black olives |
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon sour cream |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion |
Directions:
1. In a food processor, blend pitted black olives, walnuts, mayonnaise, sour cream, thyme, black pepper, salt, garlic powder and dried minced onion. Chill in the refrigerator until serving. |
