From the Pioneer Woman Cooks. I HEART Olives! Ingredients:
14 1/2 ounces black olives, drained |
6 ounces pimento-stuffed green olives, drained |
2 green onions |
1/4 lb butter, softened |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 lb monterey jack cheese, grated |
1 loaf french bread |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F. 2. Roughly chop: black olives, green olives, and onions. 3. In large bowl, combine butter, mayonnaise, cheese, olives, and onions. 4. Stir until well combined. 5. Slice bread in half lengthwise. 6. Spread olive-cheese mixture in even layer on each half. 7. Bake for 20-25 min, until cheese mixture is thoroughly melted and beginning to turn light brown and bubbly. 8. Cut into diagonal slices and serve immediately. |
