1 cup warm milk |
3/4 cup raisins or cranberries (any dried fruit would prob be good) |

powdered sugar |
oil for frying |
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in the warm milk 2. mix flour, salt, cinnamon, lemon juice and egg together, then add milk yeast 3. beat the crap out of it. 4. let sit in warm place, covered for 30 mins 5. beat it again, let sit for hour covered in warm place 6. I use a little fry daddy, my mom uses a big pot, either way make the oil amount tall enough, like 2 inches high. oil should be over 300 deg but under 400. 7. take 2 spoons make ball like shapes and fry away. Both sides should be a light golden brown. 8. Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar while still warm. Happy New Year! |
