1/2 lb bacon, cut in chunks |
2 lbs green beans, cut in halves |
2 onions, quartered |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 lb new potato, peeled |
Directions:
1. Place bacon in large saucepan and cover with water; boil 20 minutes. 2. Add green beans, onions, salt, sugar and cayenne; boil 15 minutes. 3. Add potatoes; boil until potatoes are tender. |
