I got this recipe from a friend of mine today, I can't wait to make this. Ingredients:
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups cornmeal |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 1/2 cups buttermilk |
3 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in cornmeal. Combine eggs. buttermilk and melted butter. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring only until smooth. Turn into well greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake for 25 minutes. |
