This is the best cheesecake recipe, my family loves this! Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) graham cracker pie crust |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
1 dash salt |
2 eggs |
1 cup sour cream |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 teaspoon vanilla |
fresh fruit (optional) or fruit filling (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. In bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla & salt. 3. Mix until well blended. 4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. 5. Place crust on baking sheet; pour in filling. Bake 25-30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. (It should be puffed up , not sinking in the middle). 6. TOPPING:Combine sour cream, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla in bowl. 7. Carefully spread over pie. 8. Continue baking 10 minutes; cool. 9. Chill 3 hours. 10. Optional: Top with fresh fruit or canned fruit filling. |
