Old English Cheesy Mac & Tuna |

Isn't it funny how you can look at one recipe and see another? This is my take on an already published recipe. Ingredients:
8 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni |
2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 cup chicken broth |
5 ounces kraft old english cheese spread |
1 (6 ounce) can tuna in water, drained and flaked or |
1 (6 1/2 ounce) package tuna in water, flaked |
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and return to pot. 2. Melt margarine or butter is medium size saucepan. Add flour and paprika; cook and stir 1 minute. Add broth and simmer until sauce begins to thicken. 3. Add cheese spread. Cook and stir until well combined and cheese is melted. 4. Combine tuna with pasta, pour in sauce and stir well. Pour into 2-qt baking dish. 5. Place in 350F oven and bake until brown and bubbly. |
