Oats and Cinnamon Muffins |

These are great at Christmas time for people who dont original Spiced Fruit cake. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup quaker oats, with apple and blueberry (you could also use porridge oats and add dry apple and blueberries) |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup low-fat milk (1%) |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
2 teaspoons mixed spice |
Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients together and mix wet ingredient seperate then add both together. 2. Put in muffin cases or cake tin. 3. Bake in oven until golden. I test mine with a sharp knife in the centre if it is still goo on knife it goes back in for a little longer. 4. 20-25 for muffins but please allow longer for a cake. |
