Oatmeal Yeast Rolls

Ingredients:
2 1/4 ounces yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
5 cups flour
1 1/4 cups rolled oats
Directions:
1. proof yeast in warm water with honey
2. combine milk sugar salt and butter and scald
3. when slightly cool add eggs
4. stir in 1 cup flour
5. and beat well.
6. add yeast and oats
7. stir in sufficient flour to make soft dough
8. knead on floured board 10 minutes
9. form into ball and place in greased bowl
10. cover let rise until doubled
11. punch down cover
12. let stand 19 minutes
13. form into rolls and place in greased pans
14. brush top with butter
15. let rise until doubled.
16. bake in 375 degree oven 15 to 18 minutes.
