Oatmeal With Cardamom and Raisins |

This is a great way to get kids to eat oatmeal without sugar or artificial sweeteners. Drizzle with antioxidant rich honey for a slightly sweeter taste. Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats |
1 3/4 cups water |
1/2-1 cup raisins |
1/2 teaspoon cardamom |
Directions:
1. Bring water and raisins to a boil. Add oats and boil for 1 minute, stirring often. Remove from heat, set aside and cover for 2-3 minutes. Add cardamom and mix well. Scoop portions into bowls. Drizzle with desired amount of honey and add desired amount of milk. |
