Here is recipe from a Gold Medal cookbook that makes great toast! It makes a 1 1/2# loaf. I would like to thank chef#314327 for their kind review but their zmail is marked private. Hopefully you will see this! Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups water |
2 1/2 tablespoons butter |
3 cups bread flour |
1/2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped |
3 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons dry milk |
1 1/4 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons bread machine yeast |
Directions:
1. Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. 2. Set crust color at Light. Size 1.5 pound loaf. |
