this recipe is from the Strawberry Patch Bed and Breakfast Lebanon, Pennsylvania Ingredients:
2 cups white flour |
1-1/2 cups oats |
1/2 cup wheat flour |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1-1/2 cups buttermilk |
1/2 cup oil |
4 tablespoons molasses |
2 eggs |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
3 cups chopped strawberries/peaches or blackberries (if you use all three -1 cup each) |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients. Mix together. Add nuts and fruit. Grease muffin pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until done. Best served warm. |
