Oatmeal pancakes my Mom always made. I never had a regular pancake until I was an adult. Ingredients:
2 cups whole milk |
1 1/2 cups uncooked oats (best to use old fashioned but quick will do in a pinch) |
3/4 cup flour |
3 tbs vegetable or canola oil |
2 eggs |
2 tbs sugar |
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder |
1 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Combine milk and oats and let stand 3 minutes. 2. Beat eggs and add to milk and oats 3. Add sifted dry ingredients. 4. Mixture will be thin. Add more flour if too thin |
