These are not your regular, fall apart, mushy pancakes. They are very hearty and stand up to peanut butter and syrup, which is how we like ours. We usually triple the batch and have it for two breakfasts a week. There are six children in my family, so it makes alot and fills everybody up. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups quick oatmeal |
2 eggs |
1 3/4 cups buttermilk |
1/4 cup oil |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients in one bowl, wet ingredients in another, mix them seperately and then combine. Stirring until moistened. 2. Cook on a pre-heated griddle until done. |
